OUTLINE
Disused for decades, regenerating a textile mill into a spacious and luminous Loft complex with stunning courtyard and gardens.
What was formerly a rag sorting and milling building lent itself beautifully to conversion to luminous lofts. High stylish utilitarian windows become a strong selling point when allied to the opening out of a huge central courtyard. Former underground storage areas are converted into underground parking, creating the possibility of large landscaped areas overlooked by individual residents balcony and terrace areas. The success of this project has lead to the launch of Parc Lamartine, another landmark project of the scale of the Victoria Lofts chocolate factory project in Brussels, but located in the Lille area of northern France.
